Points System Notes
A double-double is when a player scores double-digits (10 or more) in two of the following categories: points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals.
A triple-double is when a player scores double-digits (10 or more) in three of the following categories: points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals.
This point system is balanced to:
  • Reward effective shooting
  • Value defensive play
  • Penalize mistakes, but not too harshly
  • Encourage versatility in players
The system can be tailored to specific league preferences:
  • For offensive-oriented leagues, the value of points scored can be increased
  • For defense-oriented leagues, the value of blocks and steals can be increased
  • For a more realistic evaluation, penalties for misses can be increased
